- Hay Fever
There are two general types of hay fever. One is common throughout the year, called perennial rhinitis, and the other, seasonal allergic rhinitis, usually occurs only when plants are seeding and their pollen is airborne.
Hay fever is an allergy, typically caused by pollen or dust in the atmosphere, which causes the eyes and nose to become runny and inflamed when they come into contact with their mucus. It’s usually at its worst between March and September.
